This policy outlines the Hostrina Kenya Order Verification Procedure, created to help prevent Internet fraud and ensure the security of all transactions made through our platform. Each new order undergoes verification to confirm payment details and validate the authenticity of the customer.
Verification Procedure Steps
Step 1: You place an order for a hosting account via our order form. A transaction follows through your chosen payment method.
Note: If your payment attempt fails, you will receive a one-time email from our Sales Department containing details on how to complete the transaction successfully.
Step 2: Once we receive confirmation from our authorized payment processors (PayPal, WorldPay, or 2CheckOut), verification begins.
Step 3: Within approximately one hour (weekends may take longer), our verification team begins reviewing your order.
Step 4: We compare your IP location, billing address, and the information provided during account registration to detect possible mismatches or fraud risks.
Step 5: A payment confirmation call is made at your convenience. If we can’t reach you by phone, you’ll receive an email requesting an alternate contact number. If confirmation isn’t received within 48 hours, the order will be cancelled and the account will be blocked.
Important Information About PayPal Payments
All new PayPal payments initially appear as “Authorized” — this means funds are pending. Within 48 hours, the payment will either be:
- Captured – Payment is approved and processed successfully.
- Voided – Payment is not approved, and no funds are received.
If approved, your PayPal statement may show both “Authorized” and “Capture” statuses — this does not mean you were charged twice.
Hostrina Kenya does not process domain registrations until payments are confirmed. If your domain name is taken during verification, you may choose another domain.
